As children we are told to dream big and to follow those dreams. We took those words to heart and today those dreams are a reality. After years of working in the construction industry, we have returned to our roots and built Blue Slate Ranch in eastern Washington. We were taught that hard work, honesty, integrity and quality need to represent the person you are, the life you live and most importantly the reputation you earn. Blue Slate Ranch, its people and products strive to earn that reputation every day.

Our ranch is managed not just for livestock, but for forest health and wildlife management. We have a large portion of our ranch in timber and we are constantly striving to improve the wildlife habitat. Our ranch is home to black bear, cougar, whitetail deer, moose, turkey, grouse, elk, bobcat, fox, hawks, and much more. The ranch is surrounded on two sides by national forest and has year-round water making it an important link with the forest surrounding it. It is important to us to manage our ranch in a sustainable fashion so that it will still be here to be used and enjoyed by future generations. A conservation easement has been placed on the property to protect it from development.
